Nuestros Eco-L铆deres de Year 3, 4, 5 y 6 disfrutaron de una inspiradora visita a Fuente Columbares, donde exploraron un entorno natural privilegiado y descubrieron la gran biodiversidad que alberga este espacio tan especial. 馃尡馃惁
Durante la ruta interpretativa, conocieron plantas aut贸ctonas como la albaida y el albard铆n, identificaron especies animales como el b煤ho, el 谩guila real y el 谩guila culebrera, y reflexionaron sobre la importancia de cuidar los ecosistemas para preservar el equilibrio de la naturaleza. 馃實鉁�
Como broche final, participaron en una actividad pr谩ctica y muy significativa elaborando sus propias bolas de semillas Nendo Dango 鈥� peque帽as esferas de arcilla con semillas en su interior 鈥� que lanzaron al terreno con la esperanza de que germinen y contribuyan a enriquecer la biodiversidad de la zona. 馃尵馃げ

Our Eco-Leaders from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed an inspiring visit to Fuente Columbares, where they explored a beautiful natural environment and discovered the rich biodiversity that makes this special place so unique. 馃尡馃惁
Along the interpretive trail, they learnt about native plants such as albaida and albard铆n, identified local wildlife including owls, golden eagles and short-toed snake eagles, and reflected on the importance of protecting ecosystems and preserving nature鈥檚 delicate balance. 馃實鉁�
To finish the experience, our students took part in a meaningful hands-on activity by creating their own Nendo Dango seedballs 鈥� small clay balls filled with seeds 鈥� and scattering them in the area to help support local biodiversity for the future. 馃尵馃げ

Congratulations to our Year 7 to Year 9 students on their outstanding results in the Mathematics Competition organised by the University of Liverpool!
Two of our students, Yixao (Year 9) and Martina (Year 7), have been awarded Highly Commended certificates 鈥� a remarkable accomplishment in a competition that attracts over 2,000 entries each year from schools across the country.
In addition, Yixao has been recognised with a prize for the second consecutive year, reflecting his consistency and excellence in a highly demanding academic challenge.
Opportunities like this not only celebrate academic success, but also inspire curiosity, confidence and a genuine enjoyment of mathematics 鈥� a key subject in developing logical and scientific thinking.

En Year 3, dentro del 谩rea de Ciencias Sociales, estamos trabajando en el 煤ltimo tema del curso, centrado en la importancia de conocer el pasado para comprender y valorar mejor el presente. Somos lo que somos porque fuimos lo que fuimos.
Durante las 煤ltimas semanas, el alumnado ha trabajado en grupo investigando diferentes civilizaciones. Han tenido la oportunidad de presentar sus proyectos al resto de compa帽eros, compartiendo lo aprendido con entusiasmo y seguridad 馃帳鉁�

In Year 3, within Social Studies, we are currently working on the final topic of the year, focusing on the importance of understanding the past in order to better appreciate and interpret the present. We are what we are because we were what we were.
Over the past few weeks, students have been working in groups to research different civilisations. They presented their projects to their classmates, sharing their learning with enthusiasm and confidence 馃帳鉁�

Los alumnos de Year 3 a Year 6 han participado en un taller impartido por la Fundaci贸n Vicente Ferrer, titulado 鈥淪emillas de bienestar. El cuidado que transforma el mundo鈥�.
A lo largo de las sesiones, han reflexionado sobre las emociones que sienten en distintos momentos, c贸mo las expresan y de qu茅 manera influyen en las personas con las que conviven. La actividad ha terminado con una breve meditaci贸n guiada que ha aportado calma y serenidad a todos los grupos 馃鈥嶁檧锔忦煉�
Queremos agradecer a la Fundaci贸n Vicente Ferrer su visita y la oportunidad de ofrecer a nuestro alumnado este tipo de experiencias tan significativas.

Our Year 3 to Year 6 students took part in a workshop delivered by the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, titled 鈥淪eeds of Wellbeing. Care that Transforms the World鈥�.
Throughout the sessions, they reflected on the emotions they experience in different situations, how they express them, and how these affect those around them. The workshop ended with a short guided meditation, bringing a sense of calm and wellbeing to all groups 馃鈥嶁檪锔忦煉�
We would like to thank the Vicente Ferrer Foundation for their visit and for providing our students with such meaningful learning experiences.
Because education is not only about learning from textbooks: true education is holistic, and also means learning to understand ourselves, regulate our emotions, and live better together 馃實
